Show PARAGONAH NEWS My llilina Lamoreaux Turkey dinners and family gatherings were in order during the past week and many former residents were in town for the Holiday. Bishop and Mrs. Kenneth G. Tophatn enjoyed having their son Kenneth and his family of Salt Lake City here with them from Wed. to Sun. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Halversen Mr. and Mrs. Hill Whipple were here from Cedar City and Miss Harbara Stones and a girl friend tame from Salt Lake City. Dwight and Howena Stones joined them. Mrs. Leona Stones was in Cedar City for Thanksgiving. She visited overnight Wed. at the Mario Stones home and had holiday dinner with the Carlyle Mitchells. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Smith and family of Cedar City were here for dinner and games on Thurs. at the lias Jones home. Dale Smith and his family of Sandy arrived later and all went to Cedar City for a couple of days together. Iras returned home Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Carter and Monica of Minersville were Sun. visitors at the Kay Lamoreaux home. Mr. and Mrs. James H. Anderson An-derson had 31 of their family together on Thurs. Included in the group w ere Mr. and Mrs. Jim Low, Becky, Patty and R.G., Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Limb and Robert of Beaver, the Jimmy Anderson family of Kanab. Robert and Gail Burrows of Fredonia, Lorraine and Brook Limb of Cedar City, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Marchant and two sons and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Curtis and three children of Salt Lake City. Connie and Sue Dunton of Cedar City were here from Wed. to Sun. with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dunton. Mrs. Marion Rosenberg of Cedar City and daughter Doris Goodwin and three boys of Mid Valley were Sun. visitors here with Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Davenport. Mrs. Shelia Jensen and two children of Babbitt, Nev. arrived here some time ago to stay until after Christmas. Ken joined them here for the holiday and they had Thanksgiving with the Bill Daltons. Norman and Susan Howard and two children of Washington were holiday guests at the Bill Dalton home. Mrs. Lovena Leavitt has returned to her home in Mesquite after a visit here with the Bill Daltons. Miss Julie Maxfield of Salt Lake City was a guest at the Bruce Barton home for the holiday weekend. Mrs. Gwen Jones had overnight over-night guests Fri. night. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin H. Kieffer and three children were here from Bountiful. On Sat. Mrs. Jones and her visitors were to Panguitch for the wedding and reception for Miss Belinda Englestead and Dale Gray. Mr. and Mrs. Rick Robinson and little boy of Cedar City were here for Thanksgiving with Peggy's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Lamoreaux. The little boy stayed overnight Sat. with his grandparents. Mrs. Hannah Robinson and Ada had all available members of the Joe Lamoreaux family with them during the holiday. On Thurs. they entertained the Duane Lamoreaux family of Cedar City, the Ronald Mor-tensens Mor-tensens of Parowan and Mrs. Gaytha Benson, Julie and Joey and Mr. and Mrs. James Robinson of Beaver. On Fri. they were visited by the Robin Lamoreaux family of Orem and Darren and Christian and two sons of Logan were here from Wed. to Sat. with Gayles parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson I.und. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Robb had a host of family with them for the holiday. Daughter Karen Fergusonm came from Orem, the El Roy Mason family and Douglas Murie and three childenn came from Cedar City. The Val Robb and Jerry Ward families and Mrs. Ginger Hulet and children joined them. Leslie Hulet had gone to New York for a few weeks racing and was absent from the group. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Abbott and children of Salt Lake City were here overnight with their people, the Myron Abbotts and Albin Judds. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Jones had their Thanksgiving dinner on Sat. when Rodney Marie and Gene came from Fredonia and the Claude Jones' were here from Cedar City. Mrs. Carmen Topham joined the family. Mr. and Mrs. Orson Talbot were happy to have son Brent and his family here with them from St. George. The Bob Talbots joined the group. On Friday Orson was admitted to the Valley View Medical Center for a few days treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Inglesby and two sons of Salt Lake City were here for several days to visit with Annette's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dalton. The Alan Stubbs family came from Parowan on Fri and Sat. to visit with them. Sun. morning Jack was taken to Cedar City to be hospitalized for a time for his heart condition. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Robinson hosted a holiday dinner for Marsha's family. Mrs. Florence Miller and Phillip came from Parowan, the Gary Miller family from Cedar City and Miss Cathy Miller was here from Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Prothero were to Cedar City to enjoy holiday dinner with the David Bonzos. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Close and three children of Las Vegas visited here on Mon. of last week with Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Prothero. ' Mrs. Ruth Boardman returned home on Sat. from a holiday trip to Calif. She left here on Nov. 20 to travel to Hemet to spend Thanksgiving with her sister Jessie and her husband, Basil Rose. Later she went to Rowland Heights to see Blaine and Orleane Roundy. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Lund of Mesa, Ariz, visited here overnight over-night recently with Mr. and Mrs. Orton of Cedar City. The Orton brothers spent two days here with their grandparents. grand-parents. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Elmore and three daughters of St. George were holiday visitors here. They had dinner with the Charles Motor family and visited overnight over-night with Phyllis' mother, Mrs. Nina Robb. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thornton had a number of their family together here on Thurs. The Conrad Clark family came from Cedar City, the Reed Thorntons from Parowan and were joined by Lynn and Kristine Thorntoni. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson had 28 of their family together on Thurs. Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Robinson and theirs arrived on j Wed. and others arrived on the holiday included Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Edwards and Paul of E Cedar City, Mr. and Mrs. Paul ( Chapman and baby of Nephi. Present also were Mrs. Alice Robinson from Parowan, the Dale Robinson and David i Robinson families and Billy I Edwards. I Mrs. Idella Robinson traveled I to Cedar City to spend the j holiday with 'the Cluff Jolley j family. f Family members visiting here were Mrs. Kathy Adams of Las Vegas on Sat. Elun and Sharon Robinson of Parowan and Mrs Angie Robinson and babies of Page on Sun. Gary Adamson has joined the service and was leaving on Monday for Fort Ord, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Topham had their entire family together for the holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Topham and tw o children came from Tavlorsville, the Gale Roberts family from Cedar City and the Sam Cutlers and Leslie Tophams joined them. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Henderson and family of Las Vegas visited here on Wed. and again on Sun at the Sam Cutler home. Wilson Lund. Elwin Talbot and son Mark of Salt Lake City visited here overnight Fri. with Elwins parents, Mr. and Mrs. Renford Talbot. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Lamoreaux and family of Salt Lake City were among the holiday visitors here. They divided their time between the Errol Lamoreaux home here and the Frank Deckers in Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Errol Lamoreaux and Mr. Calvin Robiason were to Cedar City for holiday dinner with the Bud Bauer family. Mr. and Mrs. K. Doyle Robiason were to Cedar City to spend Thanksgiving with the David Skougaards. On Friday their son Burgess and family of Salt Lake City were here for an overnight stay. Other visitors at the Robinson home were Mr. and Mrs. Glade Fiefield of Pocatello, Idaho who stopped here on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. David Dalton had their family with them for the holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Max Robiason and two children came from Salt Lake City and Tony was home from school at the Tech Institute in Provo. The Misses Laura Barton, Louise Davenport and Holly Robiason were all home from Logan to visit their families, the Joseph E. Bartons, Douglas Davenports and Boyd Robinsons. Boyd and Hazel took Holly back as far as Provo on Saturday. Satur-day. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Davenport and daughter Barbara Bar-bara took Louise North on Sat. and were to visit with the Jerald Davenports during the weekend. Mrs. Sadie Stones and Helen enjoyed having holiday guests. |
