He is survived by his widow, Cedar City; a son, Burt, Cedar City; and five daughters: Mrs. Wilina Hratton, Cedar City; Mrs. Whitney (Marie) Orton, I'arowan; Mrs. Alma (Honda) Hririkerhoff, Mrs. J. E. (Myra) Hoyt, both of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. W. J. (Nan) Brockmeier, Ofiden. Friends may call at the Mortuary troni 11 noon until time of services. Walker attended Cedar City Schools and the Branch Normal School, now Southern Utah State College. He also attended the University of Utah He w as a member of the LDS Church where he has held various positions. He worked in mining retiring in l!)f5, at age 70, as a heavy duty repairman for Utah International, Inc. Walker was born in Cedar City Feb. 4. 11(05, a son of Edwin Corry and Nancy Chatterly Walker. He married Susan Jeanette Burt Sept. 27, 1920. That marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. She died April 15, 1909. He married Lillian Greenwood Feb. 14, 1971. The Cedar City native was a veteran of World War I. He was the first man in Cedar City during that war to enlist and was |
