Show Gaylen Heyborne wins trophies at USA Snowmobile races 1 Main 300 class In stock competition, comp-etition, i In the 400 classification Heyborne won his qualifying heat and was defeated only by one of the national top professional snowmobile racers rac-ers in the finals. The weekend event started out as a trip to fee what top competition was like and wound up with the Cedar City pair birnging home more than their share of the trophies. Bringing home trophies was not the Intent of Ron Durrant and Gaylen Heyborne this past weekend as they traveled to Salt Lake City to particl-pate particl-pate in the Utah Snowmobile Association State Championship Champion-ship races, but bring home the trophies they did. Much to the chargin of the professionals, the manufac. ture teams throughout the western United States, this comlbination brought home a second and third place trophy. Helborne was the driver of two Ski-Doo Snowmobiles owned 'by Eon's Sporting Goods In Cedar City that were entered in the competition staged on the Bonneville Flats races that were sanctioned by the Western Snowmobile Association which drew entries en-tries from throughout the west. Helborne drove a 400 Free Air Ski-Doo to a second place finish in the A-Main 400 class. Mication, then turned around and with a 294 TNT captured third place honors in the A- WIN HONORS.
