Show Thespians at CHS stage 'classic' the fueds of families, brought a sense of accomplishment to the cast and the directors. By Kim Derbidgo student director Fencing, movement and line interpretation have occupied the actions of the Cedar High School oast for the past two months to form the production produc-tion of "Romeo and Juliet." The production was staged Wednesday evening and will be staged again this evening, Thursday, at the Cedar High School auditorium. Curtain time is 8:15 pm. Miss Phyllis Davis, Cedar City High School Drama Di-' Di-' rector, produced the play, pro. viding movement courses that helped the cast to move with flexibility and grace on stage. Miss Davis also directed line interpretation and the sets designing, to bring the play to its final stage. Romeo and Juliet roles were held by Jim Leigh and Sandra Creel, respectively. Both are sophomore students. These roles wer.9 a great challenge to them as was the rest of the play to the entire cast. Other main roles were held by Jan Thompson, as the Nurse; Lorrin Ronnow, as Mer-cutio; Mer-cutio; and Lord and Lady Capulet roles were played by Mark Williams and Mary Ellen El-len Schmutz Instruction of fencing was achieved through the cooperation coopera-tion of Robert Moore, a graduate grad-uate from Brlgham Young University. Mr. Moore was chosen because he received top honors at saber fighting and fencing meets. Shakespeare's tragedy, forming for-ming the loss of lives through TAKE LEADS.
