Show ENOCH AND MIDVALLEY NEWS By Mrs. Veda Matheson A wedding Teception was held at the Enoch Ward Church a week ago Saturday honoring Mr. and Mrs. Jay Grimshaw who were married ; that day in the St. George I Temple. Th,e bride's mother . Mrs. Edwards and her daughters daugh-ters were here from Germany. Also Gay Grimshaw was here from Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Grim-. , shaw became grandparents again with the birth of a baby-girl baby-girl to Ray and Dorothy Orton of St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Murie, son Kelly and daughter Janet Jarvis were recent visitors here with friends and rela-tlves. rela-tlves. Mr. and Mrs. Brent Jones were in Salt Lake recently to consult with a doctor for their son Brennen. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Matheson Mathe-son made a business trip to Salt Lake last week. Mr. and Mrs. George D. Grimshaw are in Calif, this week. Mr. and Mrs. Elton Richardson Richard-son and family spent last week in Arizona visiting with family members. Leo Richardson returned home from Calif, where he has been stationed at the Presidio of San Francisco with the U. S. Army. Leo has completed his two year enlistment. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard John-son John-son visited with Mr. and Mrs. Matheson and family last week. The Johnsons live in Farmington. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Taylor of Calif, visited with Mrs. Mildred Maxwell recently. Alan and Russel Matheson visited overnight with grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Matheson. The Enoch Ward YWMIA was recently reorganized. Mrs. Marilyn Jones was released as president and Mrs. Lynn Clark was sustained in that position with Mrs. Amanda Pace as one counselor. Miss Htlen Pace spent the weekend in Las Vegas with Mr. and Mrs. Ted Kelsey and boys. John Heaton and Myron Jones, both ederly residents of this area are in the Valley View Medical Centor, |
