Show IDS Institute series is highly successful The LDS Institute of Religion Relig-ion noon forurn has gotten off to an Impressive start for winter quarter. Harry Johnson, John-son, Henrlvllle, who heads this year's forum activities, has put together a very ex- citing program based on the theme "Go Ye Therefore Into All the World." The spotlight Is on the universal un-iversal nature of the Church, featuring those students on the SUSC campus from different differ-ent parts of the world. Dls-tlnguished Dls-tlnguished members of the Church who have worked with different peoples of the world are also featured as speakers. The Forurn lectures are held each Tuesday noon at the LDS Institute, 650 West Center, and the meetings are open to the public. Past programs have been extremely successful and the remaining schedule promises to be similarly rewarding to those who attend. Future forum lecturers were listed as follows: Feb. 6: "What You Can Do to Help Us, the American Indian," In-dian," by Terl Bushhead and Terry Lane, returned Indian Missionaries. Feb. 13: "What is Happening Happen-ing for and by the Indian People," by Dale Tingey, dl rector Institute of American Indian Services and former Southwest Indian Mission President. Feb. 20: Surprise Speaker. Feb. 27: 'The Church and the Islands," by Miller Solial, Henry Molifua and Marinl Laulu, Polynesian students and all returned missionaries. March 6: "Our Heritage in Song, Dance," presented by some of the foreign and minority min-ority group students on the SUSC campus. |
