Show Marriage counselor to appear on LDSForum series Dr. Kenneth Cannon, professor pro-fessor of Marriage and Family Relations at Brigham Young University will be the speaker at the LDS Institute Forum April 3. The Forum begins at noon. Dr. Cannon's subject will be, "Loving In Listening . A Criteria for Success in Courting and Marriage." Dr. Cannon's many years of teaching, counseling and writ-ing writ-ing about marriage communication communi-cation will provide an interesting inter-esting hour of functional insights. in-sights. Besides the practical training Dr. Cannon has received re-ceived from his wife and five children, he also has a Ph.D. in marriage and family relations re-lations from Iowa State University. Uni-versity. Prior to his teaching and research position at BYU, he did family sociology research at the Iowa State Experiment station. He has also taught marriage classes at University of Nebraska, Texas Tech, and Arizona State. Students and members of the community are given a warm invitation to attend. Forum lectures are held each Tuesday at noon throughout the spring ouarter. |
