Show Former resident dies and is buried in Canada Elizabeth Rae Wllcock Smith of Raymond, Alberta, Canada, and a native and one time resident of Parowan, died in Cardston, Can., on Sunday, Mar. 4 at the age of 79 years. This Information Is given to us by Mrs. Mabel Wilcock, a sister-in-law of the deceased. deceas-ed. She was the wife of the late Clarence B. Smith, who preceded pre-ceded her in death on Jan. 9 1973. Mfs. Smith was Elizabeth Rae Wilcock of Parowan, born Sept. 3, 1893, the eldest of eight children born to Wm. Sharp Wilcock and Francis Rowley Wilcock. Rae as she was known, went to Canada in 1915 where she met and married mar-ried Delsel Selman. He died in 1940. She later married Mr. Smith of Raymond on March 31, 1948 in the Cardston LDS Temple. They later filled an LDS Mission in the Northwestern States. She is survived by the following fol-lowing children, a son, Lynn Selman; Daughters: Beth Mi-chelson, Mi-chelson, Lethbrldge; Beth Murdock, California, and Donna Rae Garner, of Raymond! Ray-mond! 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving her are two brothers, broth-ers, Edward (Ted) Wilcock, of Parowan and Cyral Wilcock, of Henderson, Nev., and a sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Mary Munford also Henderson. Funeral services were held in the Raymond Third Ward chapel Saturday, March 10, and interment was in the Temple Hills cemetery. |
