Show 24, 1911 in Delta, a son of Ed-ward Ed-ward John and Lizzie May Damron Whicker. He married Ruby Ward of Parowan Sept. 29, 1936 in Salt Lake City. Retired Re-tired Executator of P. I. E. Truck Lines, in the Bay area of California for 23 years prior pri-or to moving to Parowan two years ago. He attended Delta High School and BAC in Cedar City where he was a prominent promin-ent basketball team member. He was a member of the LDS Church. He is survived by his widow; wid-ow; two sons and two daughters daugh-ters as follows: Floyd Ward Whicker, Ft. Collins, Colo.; Kenny Whicker, of Concord, Calif.; Mrs. Richard "Linda" Bechmann, Granger, Utah and Sally Whicker, Long Island, N. Y.; six grandchildren. Also brothers, sisters, Paul Whicker, Ogden; H. Ford Whicker, Murray; Mur-ray; Mrs. Burns (Margie) Hil-debrand, Hil-debrand, Lafayette, Calif, and Mrs. Paul (Lyda) Boyer, Las Angeles. FLOYD ERNEST WHICKER Floyd Whicker, 62, dies, funeral services Thursday Floyd Ernest Whicker, 62 of Parowan, died March 25 of a heart attack while en route to the hospital in Cedar City, He had been stricken at his home here. Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, at 2 p. m. in the Parowan Third Ward chapel, Friends may call at the Spilsbury & Graff Mortuary Mortu-ary Wednesday from 7 to 9 p. m. and Thursday at the ward chapel from 12 noon until time of services. Burial will be in the Parowan City cemetery, ceme-tery, Mr. Whicker was born Jan. |
