Show 1 I v ". ill Tom R. Lambert, Jr. joins U.S. Army Thomas Robert Lambert Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lambert of Cedar City, has departed for active duty with ' the United States Army. Our Army Recruiter, SSG Frank Stastny, said that Tom was in the Delayed Entry Program since December. He enlisted for a double option of his choice which includes an occupation oc-cupation and an assignment. 'For his training, Tom selected select-ed the Personnell Specialist School at Fort Ord, California. The course will include in-struction in-struction In the technique of performing administrative duties du-ties ipertaining to preparation and maintenance of personnel person-nel records, 'personnel affairs and personnel actions other than finance matters. Upon graduation, the second part of his enlistment option of receiving re-ceiving an assignment to the country of his choice will go into effect. Tom selected to be assigned to Germany for his tour. Tom graduated Cedar City (High School in May of 1972. Since that time he has been working around the Cedar City area with his father. Cur-irently Cur-irently he is in basic training at Fort Ord, California and will begin his schooling after 'graduation. |
