JIM BLACKNER Cedar Athlete wins National honors Jim Blackner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Blackner of Cedar City, has been selected for the Prep All-American Football Yearbook, Year-book, it was announced recently. Blackner who was a lineman for the Cedar High School Redmen this past season was also selected to All-Region and All-State teams this year. The seleption to the Prep All-American All-American Yearbook of outstanding out-standing athletic performance, sportsmanship and leadership ability on his high school football team. The Yearbook is sponsored by Coach and Athlete Magazine. The program was established to honor high school athletes nationally for their performance on their individual teams. Blackner received a personalized per-sonalized certificate and his accomplishments, including his complete athletic record, will be presented in the 1973-74 annual edition of Prep All-American Football.
