Show Campground fees reinstated at Zion Park Superintendent Robert C. Heyder of Zion National Park has announced that campground recreation fees will be reinstated at both the Watchman and South Campgrounds located in Zion Canyon. The fees which became effective ef-fective June 17, are $2.00 per site, per night, for individual campsites. camp-sites. Golden Age Passports are available to persons 62 years of age and older, free of charge upon presentation of proof of date of birth and entitle the owner to a 50 percent discount on the established campsite fee. Organized groups will be charged 50 cents per person, per night, with a minumum charge of $5.00 per night. Reservations are accepted only for group camping. Individual sites are available on a tirst-come, tirst-served tirst-served basis. Camping fees will be collected on a twelve-month basis. The Golden Eagle Passport does not cover camping fees. It is valid for entrance fees only, and is nontransferable. |
