Show V KENNETH V. WATSON Parowan student obtains Masters degree Kenneth W. Watson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Watson, has completed requirements for Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah. His thesis is entitled "Water Quality and Recreational Use Relationship of Brian Head Recreational Area." He received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in June 1971 and has been employed with the Utah Department of Highways as a Hydraulics Engineer. He is presently employed em-ployed with Salt Lake County Highway and Flood Control Division as a Hydrologist and Sanitation Engineer and is responsible for engineering and design evaluation for the Highway, High-way, Flood Control and Sanitation Divisions within the County. He is also Project Director for the Salt Lake Metropolitan Area Solid Waste Study and works directly with City and County Commissioners as a technical liason on a projected 25 year Solid Waste Study . for the Salt Lake Metropolitan Area. Ken is a partner in the engineering and surveying firm of Watson Consulting Engineers located in Salt Lake and Cedar City. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Institute of Traffic Engineers He is married to the former Jerri Benson and they are the parents of two daughters. Attending the graduation were Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Watson and Carolyn, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Watson and sons from Cedar City. |
