Show Golf League gets underway in Cedar City John's Kitchen Corner and Mullet Jewelry picked up victories vic-tories last Thursday evening in the first round of the newly formed Cedar Golf League, according to Brent Orchards pro at the Painted Hills Golf Course. Utah International and Steven's Company split for half a point each and American Bank of Commerce and Brent's Pro Shop were first round losers in the six team league. Competition is held each Thursdayevening when teams tee off on a shot gun start at 6:30 p.m. Teams are composed of six players with the top four players competing in each week's round of action. All six members are eligible to participate and top four members will change from week to week based on past week's scores, Orchard stated. Tonight, Thursday, Stevens will be pitted against Mullet's, John's Kitchen will take on American Bank and Brent's Pro Shop will challenge Utah International. In-ternational. Low score for the first round of play was shared by Jeff Carr of Utah International and Win Young of Mullett Jewelry. Both had 39's for the nine holes of play. |
