Alger and Brown were on the mound for the winners win-ners with Carter going all the way for Carter Bros. Coleman pushed in 11 runs in the third inning on one hit, six walks, three errors and two batters hit by a pitched ball, to spell the difference. Graff. Shirts, Miller and Pryor all saw action while Hulet and Leishman were on the mound for the losers. The game was closer than the score would indicate. Spilsbury lead 5-3 after 3 innings and were trailing only 9-3 after four. But in the fifth Milne exploded. ex-ploded. They pushed in 12 runs on six hits to put the victory away. For Kiwanis their first victory was a 13-4 win over Spilsbury and Graff with Webb and Jones pitching and a home run by Murie. In a losing effort Leishman Leish-man and Hulet were on the mound and Judd homered. Miller and Pryor were on the mound for Milne and each homered in the contest. It was Henderson hurling for Coleman and Alger hit a home run in a losing cause.
