Show Kanarraville By Carma Williams Ntf 41 4 Mrs. Betty Pace and children Gregory and Nancy "" from Bishop, Calif, spent a week here visiting her parents Sherald and Velma Peterson. Mr. and Mrs. Burns Parker and two grandsons from Calif, former resident of Kanarra spent a week at the Red Ledge Campground where he could visit many relatives and friends. Visiting with Leonard and Verna Davis and family was Verna's brother and sister in law Browning and Virginia Piatt, Cedar City, her sister and brother in law Leila and Ora Heaps from Salt Lake City. LaDonna and Verdell Roundy and granddaughter from Whittier, Calif, spent two weeks here with their mother and brother Vaughn and Merlin Isom. Jeremy Williams spent four days in Ivins with his aunt and uncle Ellen and Jeffrey Williams. Friday he went to Santa Clara to help his cousin Joshua Blake celebrate his 6th birthday in the afternoon, Chester and Carma Williams went to Santa Clara to join in the celebration and brought their grandson Jeremy home with them. Utahna and Kelsey Taylor ; from Las Vegas Nev. spent a i couple of days here with their brother and sister in I law J. F. and Berta ! Williams. Mrs. Teresa Batty spent i two days in Valley View 't Medical Center receiving I medical treatment and 1 minor surgery. Colleen Fehr from Vernal spent the 24th weekend I holiday here with her I mother, brother and sisters, 1 Maida Stewart, Pam and j Tandy Christensen. Mr. Wayne Fenn is suf-j suf-j fering from a broken collar bone when the horse he was riding on the morning of the 24th got spooked and reared up and he fell off. We wish Wayne a speedy recovery. Keith Pollock and daughter Brenda from Enterprise spent the day in town visiting his mother, Hettie Polloch and other relatives and friends. Mrs. Roma Wood and daughter Sharla De Cille and son Shane from Las Vegas stopped for a short visit with Ross and Opal Williams. They were on their way to Salt Lake City. Willard and Lillie Williams went to Sandy to visit their son and daughter in law Russell and Erika Williams and girls. Two of their granddaughters Sabina and Suzie was in the production of "Promosed Valley." They saw the " production while there. Belle and Virgil Davis enjoyed having five of their grandchildren visiting with them. Marcia and Heather McDonald from Salt Lake City, Stacy Scott and Teresa Davis from Cedar City and Tracy Davis, Las Vegas, Nev. John and Mary Lahner had a birthday dinner for their son Scott. Enjoying the dinner was his grandparents William and Ethel Lohner, Leeds; Bill and Anne Advocate Ad-vocate and two grandsons. Scott left on the 31st of July for San Diego, Calif, where he has joined the U.S. Navy. Chesley Williams from Salt Lake City visited Sat. and Sun. with his parents, Chester and Carma Williams and his son Jeremy who is spending the summer here. Chesley leaves on the 30th of August for a job in Washington D.C. for AT&T. Julie and Neldon Reeves of Cedar City spent the afternoon af-ternoon with their grandparents Lynn and Ella Reeves. Also visiting the Reeves was Verna and Stelman Hinton and girls of Las Vegas, Nev. They came to get their two sons Bevan and Shane who spent the past three weeks here. Truitt and Geri Morrell and daughter Karen Olson and two sons spent a week in Salt Lake City and Tremonton visiting Geri's mother, Julia Tait and other relatives. David Ence spent several days in Salt Lake visiting friends. He returned home Saturday. Mrs. Lou .Ella Hawkins returned home Thursday after spending two and a half weeks in Las Vegas, Nev. with her son and daughter in law Chick and Carolyn Hawkins and family. |
