Show J!,! Summit By Donna Davenport Several families have enjoyed reunions here recently. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Dalley were pleased to have most of their family together for a week of camping, visiting and family organization meetings at Yankee Reservoir. Attending At-tending in addition to Mr. and Mrs. Dalley and Mr. and Mrs. David Dalley and three children from here were Dr. and Mrs. Paul Rasmussen and three of their four children from East Lansing, Mich. Mrs. Ken Aston and three children of Twin Falls, Idaho, Kathleen of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Scott Munson and three children of Fillmore. We enjoyed a most interesting in-teresting program in Sacrament meeting last Sunday furnished by the Rasmussen family. Dr. Rasmussen is president of the East Lansing IDS Stake and he and sister Rasmussen had many interesting in-teresting and faith promoting experiences to relate as did daughter Lori. Two beautiful musical duets were played by Lori at the piano and brother Trent on the organ. Monday Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Dalley drove to Twin Falls, Idaho to take daughter Bonnie and children home and to spend a couple of days visiting with Ken and the Aston family, p , i it : ;, Pres. and Mrs. Carlisle Hulet had all of their family home recently except their missionary son, Elder Donald Hulet, who is now on the Island of Guam. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Johnson and family entertained en-tertained a number of Mrs. Johnson's family including parents Mr. and Mrs. Tennyson Sanders of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Afton Clark of Springville, and Mrs. Lasca Jensen of Orem visited here one day with relatives and friends, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Dalley, and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Davenport. Mrs. Mariam Hollinger was here from Las Vegas, Nev. to spend some time with her son Cornell and family. Mr. Hollinger took his mother back home over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Dalley have enjoyed visits from their daughters and family members, Mr. and Mrs. Von Davis of Price were here to spend Sunday and Dr. and Mrs. Jerry Storey and son Neil arrived here from Ogden Thursday for an overnigM stay. Dr. Storey attended meetings in Cedar City in connection with Weber State U. and they were here for the first night of the Shakespearean Festival. Guests attending the excellent performance were Mrs. Storey's sister and dai?uhters Mrs. Jay Davenport, Mrs. Fred Whicker and Mrs. Dannie Condie. Mrs. Dee White and Mrs. Dannie Condie att4nded a temple wedding in St. George a nd wedding breakfast break-fast at the Dward Bentley home in Cedar City a week ago. Mr. and Mrs. Vergean Porter and son Clint of Escalante were weekend guests of their daughter and family, the Darryl Davenports, then took grandson Burke back for a week's visit. Mr. and Mrs. Darryl Davenport, Melanie and Wade traveled to Escalante., Sat. to visit their folks and bring Burke home. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Fife report the arrival of a new great grandson, born in Salt Lake City July 7 to their granddaughter and husband Dr. and Mrs. Michael Worley, making a trio of JjtUe .boys for the young couple. Grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. David Urie of Richfield. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Whicker and six children returned home Tuesday following a three day's stay in Fillmore with their folks Mr. and Mrs. Henry Whicker. All of the Jay Davenport family including the Fred Whickers Dannie Condies and Darryl Davenports enjoyed a Davenport reunion at Williamsons Ranch with members of Jay's family. The Dannie Condies attended at-tended a Condie reunion at Wood s Ranch last week. Dr. and Mrs. Dee El Stapley and three youngest sons traveled to Boise, Idaho for a weeks stay with a brother and family, the Bruce Stapleys and were accompanied by their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stapley. |
