Show j iotor Advisory Committee Created tf S'L 1 i ' Governor Scott M. Matheson, by Executive Order, has created the Motor Vehicle Carrier Advisory Committee. The Committee will consist of five members holding four-year four-year terms. Named to the Committee were Rex S. Bennett of Salina, William K. England of Salt Lake City, David R. Free of Salt Lake City, Glenn B. Goodrich of Bountiful and Steve Zoumadakis of Salt Lake. Governor Matheson created the Committee to study the entire Motor Carrier Industry in order to advise the Transportation Commission and the Utah Department of Transportation Tran-sportation on appropriate changes regarding safety, size, weight, operational rules and regulations in connection with motor carrier operation. The Committee has been ADVISORY COMMITTEE.Governor Matheson recently appointed a Motor Advisory committee consisting of, left to right: Bill England, David Free, Glenn Goodrich, Chairman; Ray Hansen, Rex Bennett and Steve Zoumadakins, not shown. charged with presenting all formal recommendations and aSvice to the Tran sportation Commission, , along with an annual report of all Committee activities. |
