Show Summit By Donna Davenport .4 surgery in a Salt Lake City hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stapley were guests of their son Michael and family in Bountiful, and Mrs. Dee El Stapley and Steve stayed with their mother and grandmother grand-mother Mrs. Viola Nielson in Murray. Mr. Harold Smith was rushed to the Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City Friday for treatment. Granddaughters Myra Richards of St. George and Mr. and Mrs. Ricke Edwards of dinner and program. Mrs. James Prince was in Circleville from Monday until I Friday visiting with her son-in-law and daughter Merrill and Renee Westwood and helping care for the first grandchild, a baby girl born to the young couple, Feb. 12 in a Richfield hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Prince also went over to spend the weekend and report the baby is doing great and will be named i Michelle. . Mr. and Mrs. Fred Whicker spent several days in Ogden last week where Mr. Whicker attended at-tended School Meetings. They were guests of Mrs. Whicker's aunt and family, the Jerry Storey's while there. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Wilkin of Pioehe, Nev. were Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mrs. Wilkin's sisters Mrs. Helen Matheson and Mrs. Virgie Michelson. They also traveled to St. George to visit with a brother Herbert White who is ill and in a rest home there. Mr. Raymond Farrow entered the St. George Hospital on Sunday of last week and underwent un-derwent hip surgery Monday. Mrs. Farrow and daughter Mrs. Chuck Corder of Las Vegas, Nev. spent three days there and another son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Marc Allton from here have visited with him several times. Also Mr. and Mrs. Gay land Farrow. Elder Kevin Porter of Escalante was here to report his recent LDS mission in the Washington D.C. area in Sacrament meeting Sun. and was accompanied by a brother Elder Sloan Porter. They were guests of their brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Darryl Davenport and family. Greenville are here to spend the weekend and visit with him. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Green and family traveled to Provo Thursday for the High School wrestling competition in which son Larry is participating. Mrs. Helen Richards was greeted by many friends and relatives young and old on her birthday Feb. 14. A cousin Alene and Royce Chamberlain and family came in the evening bringing the birthday dinner from Cedar City. They were joined by Mrs. Richard's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith. Mrs. Minnie Dalley ac-accompanied ac-accompanied her sister Mrs. Leone Rasmussen of Parowan to New Castle to spend one day last week with their brothers Darwin, Clifton and Norman Hulet and families. Mrs. Maude Strate of Lander, Wyo. visited here with her sister and family the Bertrand Dalleys. A boy scout banquet was held at the church here Thursday evening for the scouts and parents. Cub leader Mrs. Dannie Condie was in charge of the Mrs. Dee White and daughters Annette and Carolyn returned home early Monday after a three day stay in Santa Monica, Calif, where they attended a National High School Marching group competition. They also performed per-formed at Disneyland on Sunday. Annette and Carolyn White left last Thursday for school activities ac-tivities in Provo. They stayed at the home of their brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Keith Fenstermaker while there. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stapley, Mrs. Dee El Stapley and son Steve traveled north on Tuesday of last week so Mrs. Dee El Stapley could be with her daughter DeAnn, a student at Utah State U. who underwent |
