Show CHS Winter Choral Concert The Cedar High School Winter Choral Clinic Concert will be held Feb. 24, 1977 at 8 p.m. in the SUSC Recital Hall. Guest Clinician will be Craig Jessop. Mr. Jessop has had much experience ex-perience working with groups and solo work winning the Western State Auditions to the Metropolitan Opera. He performs per-forms with the Pioneer Memorial Theatre; the Tabernacle Choir and teaches music at Granite High School. Besides directing the choir Mr. Jessop will also perform as guest soloist singing "Largo All Factotum" from Barber of Seville and a medley of songs from "Man of LaMancha." The evenings program will also include numbers by the A Cappella Choir. Kyrie Eleison; "How Excellent Thy Name," "O Dear What Can The Matter Be" and "All Through the Night" are some of the numbers to be sung by this group. The Crimson Souls will add further variety to the program by singing "Bohemian Rhapsody", Rhap-sody", "Monday, Monday" and "Bless the Beasts and the Children." Three students from the Choir will be featured as soloists; Kelly Moon, Patrick Fenton and Tammy Brunson. Shirley Roper who is in charge of program arrangements would like to invite everyone out to this special program. It will be free to the public. |
