Show A Communications Council Is Formed at College A new College of Southern Utah group knwn as the Trans - Campus Communications Communica-tions Council is meeting i monthly to discuss issue important im-portant to the development of the college. The council is comprised of five students, two faculty members, two staff members, two administrators, and one member from the CSU Board of Trustees. At meetings held during the past month recommendations were made on the installation of a large identification sign on the northwest corner of the campus and a smaller campus directory sign. Suggestions Sug-gestions were also made to study the possibility of relocating relo-cating present publications funds and establishing a centralized cen-tralized publishing system at the college. Other recommendations include in-clude greater participation of students, staff, faculty, alumni, alum-ni, and patrons in the CSU student recruitment program. A future item for discussion discus-sion is how to increase CSU student holding power until graduation, including weekends. week-ends. Dr. Clair Morris, director of Student Personnel Services at the college is coordinator of the council. |
