OCR Text	Show Mark Pierce joins Military service Local Army Recruiter SFC Gilbert W. Stuart reports today to-day that seven young men enlisted en-listed thru his office during the month of June. One of these young men was from Cedar City. Mark A. Pierce, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan D. Pierce enlisted en-listed for Airborne . Infantry. Mark js currently undergoing basic training. Upon comple-1 tion of this he will go to advanced ad-vanced individual training and then into his airborne training- The entire training cycle lasts for ten weeks. Stuart adds that for a limited limit-ed time he can guarantee assignments as-signments to Europe, so any young man who is interested in spending at least two years in Europe should conttact him immediately.
