Show Governor Rampton to deliver address Governor Calvin Rampton will be the featured speaker at a dedication ceremony of interstate Highway 15 and the Cedar City business loop to be held at Main Street and Hard-ing Hard-ing Avenue Friday, July 10. The ceremony will be held at 11 a. m. and Main Street will be blocked off for the activities. ac-tivities. Included in the dedication will bo a six mile section o. Interstate 15 from Vanden-berghe Vanden-berghe Interchange on the south to South Summit on the north and especially includes the Cedar City business looj' Other dignitaries who will be in attendance are Henry Holland, director of Highways for Utah, Clem Church, chair man of the Utah Highway Commission, plus other city, county and state officials. Holland will serve as master mas-ter of ceremonies for the short program, and brief remarks re-marks will be made by Church and by a representative of the Bureau of Public Roads. Rev. Grayson Gowen of the Cedar City Community Presbyterian Presby-terian Church will offer the dedicatory prayer- In connection with the activities, ac-tivities, the Utah Highway Commission will hold their monthly meeting at the DLs- ; trict 5 offices on North Main Street Special musical entertainment entertain-ment will be provided by the Cedar High School Band. |
