Show 1 Piano workshop set 'at SUSC July 13 through 23 Under the direction of Prof. Hal K. Campbell, a special , ' workshop for teachers, pro-spective pro-spective teachers, and students stu-dents of piano will be conducted con-ducted in the Music Building on the SUSC campus, July 13 through July 23 from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m. daily except Satur. day and Sunday. Various types of piano liter, ature from Baroque to the present will be studied. A major ma-jor purpose of the workshop will be to help teachers and students overcome problems encountered in technique, phrasing, interpretation, etc. All participants may have the opportunity to play selections selec-tions and receive suggestions to aid in the improvement of their performance. Registration for the class (Music 466w 3 credit hours) will take place at the Registrar's Regis-trar's office by the Auditorium Auditori-um on the first day of elass (for those not already registered). regist-ered). Pre-college piano students stu-dents and others not interested interest-ed in credit hours may participate partic-ipate for a special fee of $15. Regular fee will be $12 registration regis-tration and $6 lor each credit hour. |
