Mr. and Mrs. Kudger Fife of Cedar City visited Sunday afternoon after-noon with Mrs. Hannah Davis. Friday evening the officers and teachers of the Primary gave a stork shower for Past President of the Primary, Mrs. Judy Toland. The evening was spent playing games and refreshments were served. Wallace Roundy, his daughter daught-er and family of Escalante, Utah, ver on business. The Southern Utah Trail Riders Rid-ers Association made a successful success-ful ride Saturday into Snow Canyon. Can-yon. Twenty-one members made the trip and Lola Esplin acted a trailmaster for the ride. Mr. and Mrs. Verl Beckstead, Mr and Mrs. Donald Williams spent Sunday in Milford visiting an uncle. Mr and Mrs. Stan Mosley and son spent a day last week visiting visit-ing at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Lysle Piatt received re-ceived word February 18 of the birth of a grandchild, a boy, born to their S)on and daughter-ia daughter-ia law, J. L. and Dixie Piatt of Granger, Utah. Darlene Olds visited with her brother in Hurricane on his birthday, birth-day, Feb. 17. She was accompanied accompan-ied by her sister from Cedar City, Mrs. Leola Fife and Arneta Haider. Haid-er. Miss Mary Bauer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bauer spent a few days at home. Mary Is at- visited here a short time with relatives and friends. I Mr. and Mrs. Willard Williams spent the weekend in Las Vegas with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Jaskson and family of Las Vegas, and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Williams and daughter Sabina of Henderson. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Zeigler of Orem, Utah, called on Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Davies for a short visit. Mrs. Ziegler is the former Janice Blake. Saturday evening 30 of our young people enjoyed a turkey supper at the Ward Cultural Hall. It was under the direction of the Sunday School Teacher, David Davis. Val Davis, Leon Reeves and Cheryl Scott were in charge of the refreshments. Mrs. Ethna Williams left Sunday Sun-day for Salt Lake City to spend several weeks with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Williams and daughter Holly. Mrs. Molly Williams is spending spend-ing the week in New Harmony with her son-in-law and daughter, daught-er, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Prince. Mrs. Remola Williams spent Monday in Parowan visiting her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Smith. Mrs. Hanna Davis of Henderson, Hender-son, Nevada, visited a day last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delile Davis. Mrs. Carolyn Williams spent the weekend in Kanab with her husband Gary, who has employment employ-ment there. Mrs. Vaughn Isom traveled to Kanab Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Isom and family of Cedar Ce-dar City to visit Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Isom and family. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bauer and family and Mrs. Jennie Williams spent Sunday at Brian Head. |
