Show District Governor of Lions to Pay Local Club Official Visit Official visitation of the District Dis-trict Governor to the Lions Club of Cedar City has been set for Saturday evening, Feb. 26. At that time Dee G. Cowan, a member mem-ber of the Cedar City Cluh will officially address the club at a dinner meeting to be held at 7:30 p. m. ai AIK1I1 S ugai uuai In his capacity as District Governor Gov-ernor Cowan has under his jurisdiction juris-diction 30 Lions clubs. They are located in southwest Utah from Payson on the north to Kanab on the south. It is expected that during the year he will travel 30,000 miles visitin? the clubs in an official capacity. The governor has held all of the offices in the Cedar City Lions Club with the exception excep-tion of Tail Twister and he has compiled a perfect attendance record for 14 years. He is now working on his 15th year of perfect per-fect attendance. Lions and their wives will attend at-tend Saturday's meeting accord-ding accord-ding to club president, Dr. A. F. Rich. |
