Show I NEWS FROM NEWCASTLE Pace. Scott Tullis has returned home after a visit in Salt Lake City and Provo at the homes of his brother Jerome Tullis and family and Mrs. Verue Sandstron. Mrs. Sandstron and daughter Charlene brought Scott home and visi,ted at the homes of Mrs. Mary Tullis Tul-lis and Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Tullis. Mr. and Mrs. Pete Valora and baby son of Capitol Reef National Nation-al Monument were weekend visitors vis-itors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Christensen. They brought Becky Christensen home after a two weeks visit at their home. BY NORMA CHRISTENSEN Nearly every community in Utah has celebrated in some way the coming of the pioneers to Utah on the 21th of July. New Castle's celebration was under the direction of the Primary organization, or-ganization, and commenced Saturday Sat-urday morning with a program of pioneer stories and songs by the primary children. After, games and races were held and concessions and food were sold. The Enterprise annual rodeo was held Friday and Saturday itors at the home of Mrs. Cassie Christensen. Mrs. Mary Tullis and family visited at the home of her daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne (Sydney) Terry and baby son of Enterprise. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harrison, and Iva's father, Ashby Pace, and her sister, Mrs. Darce Prince of New Harmony, all traveled to Ogden last week end where they attended funeral services for Mr. Clark Pace, a brother to Ashby 'nipht" f-i Epferririi-e. A junior rodeo ro-deo was held Monday night, and most of the families in town were in attendance. Miss Marsha Harrison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harrison, competed In the girls' barrell race and did a fine job. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Piatt and family of Moapa, Nev., were visitors in town. Also visiting was Warren's sister, Mrs. Mary Raines and family of Milford. Mr. and Mrs. Caine Christensen of Las Vegas, Nevada, were vis- |
