Show Former Resident Dies, Is Buried at Payson Relatives in Parowan received word Monday of the death of Mrs. Earl Decker, a former resident resi-dent of this community, who died in a Provo hospital that day following an illness. Going from here to attend funeral fu-neral services for Mrs. Decker were Mr . and Mrs. Ancel J. Adams and Mr. and Mrs. Wood-row Wood-row Decker. The services will be held today, Thursday at 1 p. m. in the Spring Lake LDS chapel and burial will take place in the Payson City cemetery. The deceased was born Nov. 2, 1902 in Eureka and married Eari Decker of Parowan on July 23, 1923 and their marriage was lat-e lat-e solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. They lived in Parowan Paro-wan and at the Day Farm in the Parowan Valley for a number of years following their marriage. They later moved to Utah County, Coun-ty, living at Payson and then at Spring Lake. An active member of the LDS Church she served in the genealogical geneal-ogical society and as organist in the auxiliary organizations. Sur- viving are her husband, a son, Bryant F., Payson, and daughters, Mrs. June Snell, Orem; Mrs. De-lores De-lores Hall, and Mrs. Barbara Nielsen, both of American Fork, her mother Mrs. Harriet M. Gardner Gard-ner of Payson; 19 grandchidren, and several brothers and sisters. |
