Mr. and Mrs. Jack (Maude) Strait were here from Lander, Wyoming. Other family members here were Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hulet and family from Cedar City, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron (Leone) Rasmussen from Faro-wan, Faro-wan, Mr. and Mrs. Bertrand (Minnie) (Min-nie) Dalley and family from Summit, the Norman, Clifton, and Darwin Hulet families from town, and most of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Iron County 4-H camp was held this week at Duck Creek on Cedar Mountain. 4-H members attending from New Castle were Charles Hart, Brian Hulet, Lee Hulet, and Mark Woolsey with Mrs. Nita Rae Hulet as their leader; Charles and Eugene Woolsey, and Neil Forsyth with Mrs. Marion Woolsey as their leader; Darla, Laura, and Laur-eda Laur-eda Hulet, Debra Wood, Lorraine Pikavit, Bonnie Tullis, Nellie Gat and Valerie Hart, and Pamela Hulet, with Mrs. Mary Tullis and Mrs. Janice Woods as their leaders. Mrs. Norma Christensen Weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hulet were several members of Nita Rao's family. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Kfber and family were here for several days. Clark and his family just returned from a VA year tour of duty with the U. S. Army in Germany. After a 30 day furlough, Clark will be reassigned re-assigned to duty in Viet Nam as a helicopter pilot. Clark is a brother to Nita Rae. Nita Rae's folks, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Re-bcr Re-bcr of Mesquite, Nevada, and Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Leavitt and family of Cedar City visited at the Hulet home Sunday. Twenty family members gathered gath-ered at the Pinto home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harrison Saturday, Satur-day, July 16, to celebrate the birthday of Bill Harrison. Lydia's children remained with their grandparents for a short visit. Iva took them back to their home in Summit. The New Castle Ward Relief Society took a short trip and tour last week. The tour was to honor Mrs. Marilee Campbell who will be leaving the last part of summer. She and Kay and their family are moving to Provo where Kay will be teaching in the elementary training school at the BYU. The Relief Society ladies drove to Pipe Springs where they had breakfast. Mrs. Shirley Hart's mother, Mrs. Amy Crofts, entertained the ladies in Orderville, and they enjoyed dinner at the Cedar Breaks Lodge. Mrs. Elenore Christensen and two daughters from Salt Lake City Ci-ty and Mrs. Marilyn Steele and little son from Rangeley, Colorado, Colora-do, vvere weekend visitors at the home of Mr.and Mrs. Boyd Christensen. Chris-tensen. They were enroute to Lakewood, California, to visit at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Parley Deem. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Piatt and family of Moapa, Nevada, were visitors in town Sunday. They and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Christensen Chris-tensen and family left Sunday for Salt Lake City where they will visit at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Sherman Beacham and family fam-ily before going on to Yellow- |
