Show Mr. and Mrs. George Topham Honored On Golden Wedding Mr. and Mrs. George A. Top-ham Top-ham wore honored at a Golden Wedding celebration Saturday evening In ttho Ward Cultural Hall and several hundred guesls were present to enjoy the occasion occa-sion with them. Waldo Topham was master of Ceremonies for a most interesting interest-ing program composed almost entirely of numbers by the grandchildren. grand-children. A short history of the couple was given by Miss Nancy Topham. Following the program refreshments were served. A beautiful wedding cake and a golden color theme carried out in table decorations and floral pieces were featured. All of Mr. and Mrs. Topham's family to the last great-grandchild were present for the celebration cele-bration and many relatives and friends. Present were the Lyman Dodge, McLean Simkins and Waldo Topham Top-ham families of Cedar; the Fred Tophams from Parowan, Kenneth Topham from Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Topham and three children from Taylorsvilie, Mr. and Mrs. Angus Topham and Mr. and Mrs. Glade Fifield and family members from Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Burgess Robinson Ro-binson and daughter Lori. All of these people were week end guests at the Doyle Robinson home as were Mr. and Mrs. Parley Par-ley Reid of Price. Also here were Mrs. Maurice Johnson and family of Logan, and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Johnson and family of Farmington. Mrs. Topham's only living aunt, Mrs. Lillian Ahlstrom, was here from City, with Mr. and Mrs. Reed Cox and Mrs. Inez Cox, and also Mrs. Lois McConnell, son Richard and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Munford, Hugh and Mitchell Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. , Bud Bauer and daughter, Mr. and ( Mrs. Victor Matheson and fam-1 Ily, Mr. and Mrs. Kay KoDinson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Walker and family, Mr. and Mrs. David Skougaard, all of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Esta Cox and son Sam came from Beaver. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Robinson and daughter of Richfield spent the week end with the Calvin Robinsons. Robin-sons. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Horsley and sons and Mrs. Lusina Bracken Brack-en came from Beryl and Mrs. Cleroa Chadburn from Veyo. Mr. and Mrs Robert Munford came from Parowan. |
