Show NEW HARMONY NEWS NOTES A missionary testimonial was held here Sunday in honor of Lowell D. Prince who left Monday Mon-day for the LDS Mission home in Salt Lake City. Krom there he will go to Holbrook, Ariz., to serve in the Southwest Indian Mission. Lowell was accompanied accompan-ied to Salt Lake City by his par-rents, par-rents, Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Prince. Mrs. Viola Kelsey also went along to visit her daughter, Verlene, who has employment In Salt Lake City. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Clar-ence M. Englestead last week were Mr. and Mrs. Thel Stratton and family of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Nyberg and family of Las Vegas and Alta Hoover and her daughter, Cheri, of Las Vegas. Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Tom Pearce, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Prince and Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Prince attended a wedding reception at Toquerville for Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Kleinman. Friday evening the family of James L. Prince met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Hall in Cedar City for a chicken dinner. The occasion was in honor of Lowell D. Prince. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Verl Kelsey Saturday were Mrs. Esth- 1 er W, Heaton of Alton with her daughter Mrs. Darlene H. Brink-erhoff Brink-erhoff and three children of Par-owan, Par-owan, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Hansen Han-sen and five sons of Vernal, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dostelak and family of Riverside, Calif., spent several days here this week visiting Mr. and Mrs. Emil Dostelak. ivir. ana Mrs. jerroici Pearce and Lonnie Cripps of Las Vegas visited here Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Tom Pearce. Mrs. Bea Piatt and children of Moapa, Nev. visited here Sunday with J. L. Prince. Mrs. Sylvia Pace of Salt Lake City and her mother, Mrs. Olive Blake of St. George, visited relatives rela-tives here Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Pace of Cedar City visited Abbie Pace here Sunday. Ether Wood attended a Gibson family reunion in St. George on Saturday. Orson Hammond spent two days last week in St. George visiting with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon B. Grant and their son and daughter, Kerry Ker-ry and Velda Grant and Mrs. Clara Grant motored to Salt Lake City Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Grant went on to Og-den Og-den to visit with another daughter, daugh-ter, Rolaine Grant. Iva Harrison of New Castle spent several days here visiting Ash by W. Pace. Mr. and Mrs. John Spevak and baby daughter Kimberly, visited in Cedar City Sunday with Mr., and Mrs. Gene Smith. Mrs. Alice Alexander and her daughter Alice of Cedar City visited vis-ited here Sunday with Carol Petty. Mr. and Mrs. Carmon Huntsman Hunts-man and son Neldon attended a wedding reception in Leeds Saturday Satur-day evening for Amy Lu Savage and Otto Jones. |
