Show Iron Rangers to Name Rodeo Queen On Friday, June 24 The annual queen contest conducted con-ducted by the Iron Rangers Riding Rid-ing Club will be staged on Friday, Fri-day, June 24, it is announced by Gail Fife, chairman. The competition will be staged at the Cedar Canyon Arena beginning be-ginning at 6 p. m. Entrants will be judged on horsemanship, and beauty and poise. They will be vieing for cash prizes as well as the right to 'reign over a series of rodeo events during the coming season, Fife indicated. First major event will be the Independence Day Rodeo to be staged at the Canyon Arena by the Iron Rangers Ran-gers on Saturday, July 2. Applicantions for the competition competi-tion may be submitted to Fife. Candidates must be single and must reside in Iron County. Last years's royalty will be on hand for the June 24 competition. They include Marsha Harrison, queen; Carin Blake and Jane Es-meier Es-meier as attendants.
