Show King and Queen Contest Slated Tune 25 Wednesday, June 22 is the deadline for entries in the annual an-nual King and Queen contest of the Fourth of July celebration in Cedar City. Contestants are limited to boys and girls 4 and 5 years of age. l'hey must not have turned six by July 4. To enter, parents should drop a postcard in the nail to the Cedar City Lady Lions, 534 South 450 West, giving giv-ing the name of the entrant, i i.ac of the parents, birthday, ld.'iress and telephone number. Winners of the contest will be selected at a drawing to be held Saturday, June 25. Drawing will be by last year's king and queen. To be selected is a king and lueen and an attendant for each. The winners will reign over the annual Lady Lions Minature morning of July 4 as one of the feature attractions of the Independence Inde-pendence Day celebration in Cedar Ce-dar City. Lady Lions are also soliciting entries in the parade. Civic groups, church groups, neighborhoods, neighbor-hoods, individuals aie all invitee! to enter. Cash prizes will be awarded in several categories. The Lady Lions will also contract con-tract to prepare floats for interested inter-ested groups or they have bases for floats that are available to those interested in erecting their own floats.
