Over 30 people were present for the dinner and other activities which followed. DUP meeting held at the home of Mrs. Bertha S. Topham on Thursday was quite well attended attend-ed and a fine time was had by all. In addition to the regular activities an auction was held and refreshments were served. Mrs. Lois Blood of Cedar City spent Thursday here visiting her sister, Mrs. Bertha Topham. Mrs. Catherine Dunton is able to be home again as her condition condi-tion is much improved. She has been In Parowan since being released re-leased from the hospital. Mrs. Marie Jones and her small son spent several days here last week visiting with the Blaine Jones family, before going to Cedar Ce-dar City for a stay with her people. peo-ple. Rodney is on a business trip to Texas. Bishop and Mrs. Victor Robinson Robin-son arrived home from Price on Saturday after a few days stay there. They were successful in finding suitable housing and will be moving there early In Janu ary. Mrs. Irene Robinson returned home following a few days in Provo and Salt Lake City last week. She has had the misfortune misfor-tune to develop more trouble in her legs and since the trip north has had another leg vein removed. remov-ed. Mrs. Sarah T. Robinson and Mrs. Erma Lamoreaux traveled to Richfield on Wednesday to spend the day with the Clinton Robinson family. They were accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Ruby Bauer of Cedar City. The Harold Bradshaw family of Adamsville visited here Monday Mon-day with Maiilyn's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Leonard Topham. Mr. and Mrs. Cordon Manione and their two little daughters of Provo arrived in town on Monday to spend the Christmas holidays with the H. Revere Robinsons. A number of students are home for Christmas holidays. The Misses Miss-es Annette and Helen Joan Dal-ton Dal-ton are home from Salt Lake City and Provo, respectively, for a holiday visit with their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dalton. Clyde Lamoreaux and Warren Smith are here from Provo until school starts again. Eugene Robb was leaving for Salt Lake City on Wednesday for a Christmas visit with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. LeGrande Robb and family. Hugh Robinson and his children chil-dren were here from Cedar City on Sunday to spend the day with the Calvin Robinsons. Mrs. Lorraine Sawyer of Toledo, Tole-do, Ohio, has been a frequent visitor to Paragonah lately. She is in Utah to spend some time with her son-in-law and daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Topham of Parowan. Mrs. Olive Edwards came over from Cedar City last week end following a stay there with her son Ralph and his family. Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Partner and son Max were home for the week end. Mrs. Myrtle Abbott was surprised sur-prised on Monday evening when a number of friends and relatives rela-tives spent the evening with her a a birthday celebration. Her birthday was on Sunday. Robin Lamoreaux arrived home on leave early Tuesday. He will be going overseas In the middle of January. His assignment Is at the Adana 'A F B in Turkey. |
