Show NEWS FROM KANARRAVIllE By Hannah Darts We are having beautiful weather wea-ther after a blizzard from the north Saturday evening. We had a heavy wind from the south all day then it turned to the north with a heavy dust storm followed fol-lowed by show until midnight Hazel Davis attended Primary Conference In Salt Lake City. Those attending conference from here were Ethna Ford and daughters Barbara and Lauralee Williams, Devon Reeves and Marvin Chrlstensen. """Aunt" Alice Pollock had the misfortune to fall and dislocate her shoulder and fracture her arm. She was In the Iron County Coun-ty Hospital for several days. Her children came to visit her Sun-day. Sun-day. They were Mrs. Uola Merrill Mer-rill of Payson, Lula Larson of Spanish Fork, Hllma Birch of Price, and Freda Woodbury of Henderson. Also a grandson. Rondo Merrll, came. Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Stapley of Cedar City visited with Mr. and Mrs. Jess Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Dell Judd and girls of Cedar City spent Sunday Sun-day here with Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Piatt Some of our people attended the funer&l of James Taylor at New Harmony last week. Mrs. Dora Myers of Salt Lake City has returned home after spending a week here with her father, Sam L. Pollock, Horace Roundy visited here with his son-in-law and daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Austin Ence. Many relatives and friends from out of town were here to attend the funeral for Henry Pol. Jock last week. Mrs. Valalne Bladen and her daugher Marie spent the week end visiting here with her par-enta, par-enta, Mr. and Mrs. Preston Williams. Wil-liams. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Williams Wil-liams and Lillian Williams vis. ited Friday in St. George and Toquerville. Family nigh, was held at our school Friday. The children gave a program, lunches were sold and games were played. There was a good attendance and all report having a very gocJ rime. |
