Show PARAGONAH NEVUS NOTES j I By Nora Lund Word was received by relatives here of the serious illness of Ray Davenport at the L D S Hospital Hospi-tal in Salt Lake City. Mr. Dav-'enport, Dav-'enport, a former resident of Paragonah suffered a second heart attack earlier in the week. The film, "How Near to the Angels," sent out by the B Y U for presentation to the different wards, was show here Monday evening In the ward chapel to an appreciative audience. Mrs. Alva Gale and family of Reaver visited wtth her mother, Mrs. May Lister on Friday. j Mrs. Pauline Topham of the stake Primary board accompanied accompan-ied other members to Salt Lake City for the Primary conference on Wednesday and Thursday. She also visited with her sister. Bishop and Mrs. Victor Robinson Rob-inson and family traveled to Salt Lake City where they attended the L D S conference. They were the guests of the Kay Hansens. Mrs. Mida Osborne of Cedar City was a brief visitor In town Sunday on her way home from Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Asa Topham took their granddaughter, Miss Earl-ene Earl-ene LeFevre to her home In Salt Lake City on Saturday. She had spent a week here with her grandparents and other relatives. Lewis Davenport spent the wek end In Salt Lake City with his brother, Ray Davenport, who is very 111. The Daughters of the Utah Pioneers of Paragonah will hold their next meeting Thursday, Anrll 18 at 2 p. m. at the home of Mrs. Ethel Robb. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Dalley and Mrs. Earl Stapley of Summit snent a day with their aunt, Mrs. May Lister Jast week. Mrs. Gordon Manzione anrt daughter are visiting here with her parents. Bob Talbot has returned to his military service after two weeks at home. He visited In Salt Lake City for a few days before taking a plane to Camp Carson, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Hunt and children of Stockton. Utah, and Miss LaRee Hunt of Salt Lake Cltv were here last week end visiting with thHr mother and sisters and atending the wedding reception of cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Orton. The Orson and Renford Talbot families joined other family members In Beaver Sundav to swell the number to 37 which met together to celebrate the 81st birthday of their mother an erandmother. Mrs. Jane Gale. All of Mrs. Gale's children were there for the occaaslon. Mrs. Irene Roblnron. Mrs. Alice Rolnson, Cleo Edwards and children drove to Spanish Fork Wednesday to help Bud Robinson celebrate his birthday. Mrs. Annie R. Williamson Is In Richfield visiting her sister. Mrs. Amy Prothero left Monday Mon-day by bus for Southern California Califor-nia to spend two weeks with i Mr. and Mrs. Ray Scott, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Prothero and Mr. and Mrs. Massel.
