Show Saturday Pick Ups Planned By Cedar Jaycees The Cedar City Junior Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce will make collections col-lections Saturday, April 13 as a climax to the week long Cleanup, Clean-up, Palnt-up, Fix-up campaign, according to R. L. Gardner, chairman. Members of the Jaycees have been asked to meet at 8:30 a. m. at the city-county building parking park-ing lot where the pick-up will be organized. Four trucks will begin a street-by-street pickup of debris placed at the curb of property within the city, limits, Gardner said. Residents of the city have been encouraged to get rubbish placed on the curbs by Friday iiileht or early Saturday morning. The Jaycees have also advised residents resi-dents to' put rubbish and debris as much as possible, in containers. con-tainers. If it Is necessary to use pasteboard boxes, they will', be carried off as well as the rubbish, rub-bish, Gardner said, , Wherever possible the Jaycees have encouraged residents adjacent adja-cent to vacant lots -to do some cleaning up in thos areas to help beautify the city.
