Show Ballots Marked in Jaycee Board Election Postcard ballots for the election elec-tion of four new members to the Cedar City Junior Chamber of Commerce board of directors, were mailed early this week, according ac-cording to Tom Brown, club secretary. se-cretary. Seven names were placed on the ballot with four to be elected to fill vacancies at the end of the Jaycee year. Newly elected officers will take over on June 1. The seven candidates are Charles Cooley, Bruce Decker, Bob Earhart, R. L. Gardner, Ross Hoyt, Jay Shakespeare, Gordon Twltchell, Von Waymen, Pace Webster and Rex Nelson. Following the return of these ballots a general membership meeting will be held and offi- cers for the 1957-58 year will be elected from holdover board members and the newly elected board members. The election meeting will be held at the Silver Leaf Inn on Thursday, April 18, at 8 p. m. Holdover members of the board for the 1957-58 year will include Brown, Ken Knight, Douglas Lunt, Mike Watters and Oliver LeFevre, as Immediate past president. pres-ident. Jaycees completing their two year terms on the board to be released from the office will be Bud Bowman, vice president; Ronald Morgan, state director; Lester Heyborne and Garth Webster. |
