Show Sen. Wallace Bennett Protests let Action To Air Force Chief WASHINGTON. April 11 Senator Sen-ator Wallace F. Bennett, Thursday Thurs-day protested to the Air Force as a result of damage caused Wednesday In Cedar City, Utah, by a Jet plane. The plane, believed to be stationed sta-tioned at Nellis Air Force Base, reportedly was doing acrobatics over Cedar City when it broke the sound barrier and shattered more than 200 windows In the city. In a letter to Air Force Secretary Secre-tary Donald A. Quarles, Senator Bennett said. "This Incident has caused a great deal of understandable under-standable concern in Cedar City where a number of residents received re-ceived minor injuries as a result re-sult of. flying glass fragments. "I think the Air Force should reassure residents of the area that such Incidents will not occur oc-cur in the future and that the government will quickly pay damages under the Court Claims Act to those who suffered property prop-erty damage as a result of the incident." |
