Show I Grand Chapter Officers of OES Visit in Cedar Cedar Chapter No. 20, Order of Eastern Star, met for Its regular regu-lar meeting Monday evening, Dec. 14. at the Masonic Temple, with Mrs. Fred Bunnell, worthy mitron, and Harlan Duraud, worthy patron, presiding. The chapter was duly honored by the official visitation of Mrs. Phyllis Z. Kahley, grand lesturer, who paid her annual visit to the chapter to render Instructions for jthe ensuing year. She was ac ' companied to Cedar City by Mrs. Victoria E. Thompson, worthy grand matron of the grand chapter, chap-ter, Order of Eastern Star of Utah. The worthy matron welcomed the grand officers and extended to them 'the courtesies of the chapter. The officers of Cedar chapter performed the Initiatory work for the benefit of the grand lecturer, lectur-er, and they were highly complimented com-plimented for their beautiful Interpretation In-terpretation of the ceremony. A brief Informative talk was given by the grand lecturer to assist officers and members during the year. An Installation ceremony was performed for Mrs. Harley Ends-ley, Ends-ley, who was elected secretary for the ensuing year, but was unable un-able to be installed at the Nov. 21 meeting. Installing officers were Mrs. Thompson, worthy grand matron, Mrs. Frank Quinn, grand marshal; Mrs. Jack Miller, grand chaplain, and Mrs. Raymond Ray-mond Wilson, grand organist. At the close of the meeting cake and coffee was served and a social hour enjoyed by all. A 12 o'clock luncheon was held at Cony's Cafe honoring the visiting grand officers. |
