Show Scout Honor Court Recognizes Youth Achievements A very successful Court of honor was held in the Paragon-ah Paragon-ah Ward chapel on Sunday evening, eve-ning, Dec. 13 by the Brian Head District of the Boy Scouts of America. Gordon Farnsworth, District chairman, presided at the court and W. Clair Rowley, district advancement ad-vancement chairman, conducted. Appropriate opening and closing ceremonies were- prevnted by scouts of the Paragonah Ward, who also furnished the opening and closing prayers. President Howard D. Knight gave a short but impressive talk on scouting. J. Lowe Barton, a scout' of the Paragonah Ward, furnished a saxophone solo. The following boys received advancement and merit badge awards: Paragonah: Val Robinson, W. James Williamson, Claude Jones, Allan Lister, Val II. Barton, Lynn K. Topham, J. Lowe Barton, Albert Al-bert M. Robb, received Second Class badges. La Mar Anderson, an Explorer was awarded merit Badges In electricity and cooking. Parowan Second: Elliot J. Hu-let, Hu-let, Be van Matheson, Clifford A. Stubbs, Wayne Eyre, Michael Hyatt, Hy-att, Raymon E. Matheson. Lan-nie Lan-nie S. Reese, received Second advancement awards. Elliot J. llulet received a merit badge In reading. Summit: Second Class badges went to Kent Hall Humphries and Rodney Benson. Merit badges badg-es In first aid wenf to Keith Humphries, Dave Dalley. Michael I Stapley. Chester Benson, Raymond Ray-mond L Farrow, Rodney Benson, Robert Walker, Richard Farrow. Kent Humphries, and Chester Benson received a merit badge In Marksmai.shlp.
