Show High School Redmen Look for Wins In Week End Battles Cedar High School Redmen basketball, starting the season with a win over the Milford Tigers, Tig-ers, then dropping three straight encounters, will be looking for two vlctorltes this week end to bolster their pre season record. Friday evening the Redmen travel to Fillmore where they will meet the Millard Eagles and Saturday evening will be back at the College of Southern Utah fieldhouse in Cedar City for a game with the Valley High Buf-falos Buf-falos of Orderville. It will not be an easy task for the Redmen as the Eagles of Millard Mil-lard are rated as one of the strongest stron-gest clubs in that school for a number of years and should be one of the contenders, along with the Parowan Rams, for top honors hon-ors In the Millard Division of Re- Kun 10. A Vivtucy ncic sOr inc Redmen would truly be a feather feath-er in their war bonnet. Saturday evening the Redmen entertain Valley in another contest con-test against one of the top teams, it seems, in southern Utah. Valley Val-ley has been beating a host of clubs from the Region nine area, losing only to North Sevier in games so far this season. The Buf falos have been racking rack-ing up some pretty Impressive scores in their game and may prove to be one of the tougher opponents on the pre-league scheule. Game time for both contests Is 8 p. m. On Wednesday, Dec. 23, the Redmen will travel to Mantl for a final game before Christmas and win be back for a home appearance ap-pearance on Dec. 26, meeting the Parowan Rams to complete a .home and home series with the Iron County opponent. |
