Show Weber Shows Merit Again This Year In Pre-Season Play The first balloting for' top ranked basketball teams in the National Junior College Athletic Association placel Weber College, Col-lege, defending champions of the NVCAA, in first place. Weber, a member of the Inter-mountain Inter-mountain Collegiate Athletic Association As-sociation and representative from Region 9 of the NJCAA, captured 18 first place votes and a total of 308 points in the balloting of coaches throughout the country. In second place with 155 points and five first place votes was Cameron Junior Colloge, Lawton, Olka. As an opponent of the College of Southern Utah this season the Broncos will have their hands full in contending with the Wildcats Wild-cats again. Already against a mutual opponent, the Wildcats have shown considerable strength. CSU Broncos defeated Nevada Southern University at Las Vegas S5 in 55 last week. Later Weber met NSU, also on the Las Vegas court and defeated the Rebels by a score of 76 to 47. Weber College Is the only nationally na-tionally ranked club in the ICAC. |
