Show Thomas Webster Clan Gathers For Family Reunion The defendants of Thomas Webster, known as the William Webster and Francis Webster families of Southern Utah, heid their family reunion on Saturday afternoon at the CSU college ranch lit Cedar Canyon. Dinner was served to approximately 65 family members, most of whom were present from Cedar City and Beaver areas. During the afternoon games for the young folks were directed and sports occupied the time for others. Highlight of the reunion seho-dule seho-dule was a short program presid-ed presid-ed over by Family President Wil-ford Wil-ford U. Webster. The program centered around the life of John J. G. Webster and his wife Eliza Ann Urie Webster. Presenting their life history was a Mn, John U. Webster, who traveled from his home In Hawaii to attend the reunion. During the program Mrs. Lewis Webster read a very interesting letter received from a decendant of William Webster who resides in England and who has never met his relatives here in the West. The reading of this letter seemed to strengthen the ties between be-tween the family here and the decendants who live on the other side of the Atlantic ocean. On the light and gay side of the entertainment numbers were furnished by Gloria Webster, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elwln Webster and Gary Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Jones. The reunion in every respect was acclaimed as outstanding by all in attendance. |
