Show CEDAR CITY SOCIAL SWING Robert Heyborne and son of Logan enjoyed camping and fishing at Duck Creek for a week after which they were Joined by Mrs. Heyborne. They were greeted greet-ed by Mr. and Mrs. York Jones, who were their hosts during their visit. While In Cedar City the Heybornes were entertained by their friends. On Thursday evening even-ing the canyon and a steak fry were the party plans made by members of the pinochle club to which the Heybornes belonged when they resided here.JtVeleom- lng their friends at the" evening entertainment were Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Orton. Mr. and Mrs. Therol McArthur, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hansink, Mr. and Mrs. Elwynn Halterman, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Milne and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Morris. Mr. and Mrs. York Jones were special guests. On Friday evening a no-host picnic dinner was enjoyed aftor which the quests of honor, Mr. and Mrs. Heyborne, and the other couples present reminisced around the campfire and enjoyed the evening of friendship. The week end was spent by the sightseing after which they returned re-turned to their home in Logan. Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Dot son have enjoyed having Mrs. Dotson's neice and husband visiting from Montibcllo, Calif. The visitors. I Mr. and Mrs. Fred Matuskey and sons John and Jimmy spent part of their vacation here in touring the parks which they enjoyed very much. They returned to their home the middle of the week. Currently at home with the Dot-sons Dot-sons are Mr. and Mrs. Earl (Audry) Beck and their children Ronnie, Rustie and little five- month-old Maralnne. Mr. and Mrs. Dotson are especially happy to have their first oportunity to 2-t acquainted with their newest granddaughter. The family will remain here for the week. Mr. and Mrs. Ode!l Watson of Kanab were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Berrett on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Alden Heap with their daughter Launa Rae and son David returned on the week end from Salt Lake City. On Sunday of last week a daughter, Mrs. Donald Hokanson of Pasa dena, California, arrived in Cedar City and joined her family as they traveled to Salt Lake City where they attended the wedding and reception of Donald, Heap son of Mr. and Mrs. Heap, and the former Maradon Besendorfer. The wedding ceremony was performed per-formed in the Salt Lake Temple Friday, August 22. Following the ceremony the young couple were feted at a wedding breakfast by the groom's parents. The reception recep-tion in the evening was held at the Rosecrest Ward with Mrs. Nephi Besendorf, mother of the bride, as hostess. |
