Show ENOCH AND MIDVALLEY NEWS Mrs. Cora Murie Mrs. Luana Nelson Warner and three children of Delta visited visit-ed with her mother, Mrs. Emma Nelson. Mr. and Mrs. David L. Kirts and children of Los Angeles spent the week end visiting with Mrs. Kirts' mother, Mrs. Maud Jones. Ttiey brought Beverley Jones home after spending the summer in Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. Oleen Hatch of Fillmore spent the week end with Mrs. Hatch's narents. Mr. and Mrs. George D. Grimshaw. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Stubbs, Paro-wan Paro-wan also spent Sunday with the Grimshaws. Mr. and Mrs. Dolph Grimshaw. and family spent a few days vis- iting in Kaysville, Heber City , and Provo. They will bring home. L.t Indian child to stay with! them this -"inter. Mr. and Mrs. Elton Richardson made a trip to Provo Wednesday! for some Indian students who' will live in this area and attend i school. J Bryant Anderson of Bountiful, spent Saturday visiting at the I home of Mr. and Mrs. David Murie and his brother Roland! Anderson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Grimshaw Grim-shaw and two sons spent two days in Payson and Provo this week. Michael went to Maple Dell Scout camp to receive a special award. Mrs. Emma Nelson attended the graduation of her son-in-law, Willis Gurr, at Provo Friday. A reunion of the young people peo-ple of the ward was held this week end sponsored by the grad uation class of 1951. A dinner outing was held at Navajo Lake followed by a dance and program in the evening. Sunday they gave the Sacrament meeting program, consisting of talks by Lorin Jones, Henry Vandenberg,1 Oleen Hatch, Mrs. Franklin Jones and Mrs. Royce Chamberlain. The girls of the group also sang at special number. i Mr. and Mrs. Ivor Jones spent j Wednesday and Thursday in Provo visiting with their daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, the Eldon Websters. They also brought back the Indian children who will spend the school year in their home. LaVon Jones, formerly of Enoch, who lives in Pocatello, Idaho, made a business trip here this week, he took his son LeRoy, who has been here helping Ivor Jones this summer, back home with him. Darrell Krueger. who has spent the summer living with his grandmother, Mrs. Emma Nelson, will join his family in Tuscon, Arizona, this week. |
