Show Registration Hours Disclosed for High School Students With the opening of school in the Iron County School District set for Tuesday morning, Sept. 2, Principal Max Dalley of the Parowan Par-owan High School announces the following schedule for the registration regis-tration of students In the four upper classes. Senior Class students will register reg-ister from 9 to 11 a. m. Junior will register from 11 a. m. to 1 p. m. Sophomores form 2 to 3 p. m., and freshmen from from 3 to 4 p. m. Regular class work will commence com-mence for all of the above groups at 9 a. m. on Wednesday. Students In the 7th and 8th grades will not report until Wednesday Wed-nesday morning, at which time they will register and then go right into their class work. Fees for the four high school classes will be $5.00 for student body fee, $1.00 for book rental fee and $1.00 deposit which will be returned to the student when he turns his books back at the close of school next May in good condition. There will be no book rental fee for 7th and 8th grade students stu-dents but they will pay a student stu-dent body fee of $3.00 plus a $1.00 deposit which will also be refunded at the close of school next spring. Principal Dalley also states that all students who take physical phys-ical education will be required to pay a 50 cent lrxker rental and towel fee. And he adds that all fees should be paid at the time the student registers. Principal Dalley repor's that there will be two new faculty members at the school this year, to relace teachers who have left the district. Lowell Caldwell of Vernal, a graduate of Brigham Young University will teach social so-cial sciences and serve as assistant as-sistant Coach. Mrs. Paxman of St. George will come to Parowan High School as instructor In home economics. They will replace re-place A. C. Hatch and Mrs. Beth Orton, respectively. Reutrning teachers include Principal Dalley, Claude Adams, LaNoir Asay, Meriam Anderson, Mrs. Peggy Lee Benson, Thales Brown, Marvin Graff. Duane G. VanAusdale, Mrs. Marguerite Orton. Mrs. Jean Hendrickson and John Wood. |
