Show Archery Club Sets Up Prizes For Hunting Season Members of the Ats Queo Archery Arch-ery Club of Cedar City will be vying for valuable prizes during the archery hunting season which gets underway on Saturday, Satur-day, Aug. 30 in Utah. Several prizes have been arranged ar-ranged for through the cooperation coopera-tion of local merchants in connection con-nection with the hunt. Top prize will be a $10 cash prize awarded by the Ats Queo Club for the widest spread registered regis-tered during the archery hunt. Other prizes and their donors were named as follows: Second widest spread: six aluminum arrow shafts by John A. Wood. Most points: Six Bitzenbeger Fletcher glass shafts, H. M. Ends-ley's Ends-ley's Western Auto. Longest horns: A quiver by Hunter Hardware. Shortest forked fork-ed horn: A knife and hachet set by Hamilton's Sporting Goods. It was pointed out that in order or-der to be eligible for prizes contestants con-testants must be members of the1 archery club. |
