Recorded Musical selections provided an appropriate appropri-ate background for the affair and refreshment, were served to all who called. The bride greeted guests in a lovely dress of beige satin trimmed trim-med with brown fur and accented by a waist corsage of red carnations. carna-tions. Miss Judy Talbot was the bride's attendant and she wore a sheer yellow dress. Mrs. Delsa Talbot was In charge of the gift room. A large number of out of town guests were present for the occasion. oc-casion. Jim Talbot and Mrs. Beth Fairbanks and her children came from Salt Lake City. The Arnold Mellor family was present, having hav-ing come from Fayette for the week end. The Brent Talbot family fa-mily came from Parowan. A large number of Gale's relatives were here from Beaver. Included were Gale, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Gale, Mr. and Mrs. Arnel Gale, Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Gale and family and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Gale. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Board-man Board-man were happy to have Leah Jean's parents, Mr. and Mr3. Lore Lo-re n Robinson of Kanarraville, here with them for most of the we'.k. Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Robinson enjoyed a visit from their niece, the former Mary Jane Clove on Monday. She had been to Salt Lake City for April conference and stopped here to spend some time with them on her return trip to California. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Batt of Parowan were visitors at Sacrament Sacra-ment meeting on Sunday and occupied oc-cupied the time in the meeting. Mrs. Batt played a piano selection selec-tion and Mr. Batt related some of his recent missionary experiences. experien-ces. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lund and daughter Gayle arrived home Saturday night after spending the week in Salt Lake City as conference visitors. While In the city, they were guests of Mrs. Lola Robb. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Talbot of Downey, Calif, returned to thcir home on Sunday following almost al-most a week's stay here with Kent's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ren Talbot and with, the Faris Evans family of Parowan. D. U. P. meeting will be held Thursday afternoon, April 20th, with the place yet to be announced. announ-ced. Mrs. Myrtle Abbott arrived home Thursday evening of last week after a five week stay in the northern part of the State. She divided her time between the Tom Abbotts of Murray and the Paul Butterficlds of Ogdcn. Mrs. Abbott has a new grandson, born last week in an Ogden hospital to Paul and Carol But-terfield. But-terfield. Mrs. Margaret Schott of Henderson, Hen-derson, Nevada arrived here Saturday Sat-urday night to spent a few days with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Stones and other relatives. re-latives. Warren Swith and Reed Thornton Thorn-ton made a trip to Salt Lake City last week end. Mr. and Mrs. Don Barton enjoyed en-joyed an Easter week end trip to Glen Canyon. They were accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Stella Edwards. Ed-wards. Mrs. June Topham and by Edith's mother, Mrs. John Miller of Panguitch. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth G. Top-ham Top-ham were happy to have their son Joe home with them for the week end. He was accompanied by his fiancee Miss Betty Jensen of Centerfield who is attending school in Salt Lake City. Bishop and Mrs. James H. Anderson An-derson and son Lamarr traveled to Salt Lake City early Saturday to attend the week end conference confer-ence sessions. They were guests of Mrs. Mable Robinson during their stay in the city. Mrs. Delores Robinson and son David traveled to Salt Lake City on Friday for medical aid for the boy. Yound David was placed in the Primary Children's Hospital for a few days' observation. De-lores De-lores is a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Farrel Robb during her stay In the city. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Harris were here from Salt Lake City for a week end visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Robinson Rob-inson and with Mrs. Hattie Harris Har-ris of Parowan. Mrs. Helma La-moreaux La-moreaux accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Harris back to the city on a business trip. |
