Show Wildlife Federation Establishes Working Committees Claude Macfarlane, newly elected elec-ted president of the Cedar City Wildlife Federation, announced this week that formulation of working committees and the acceptance ac-ceptance of a project at the Wood's Ranch recreation area were the principal items of business busi-ness at the board meeting held last week. Appointed to the fish committee commit-tee were Dell Carpenter and Mel Hunter. Big game committee will consist of Mr. Macfarlane and Glen Heaton and the legislation and publicity committee was assigned as-signed to Arnold Anderson, Klien Rollo and Jay Monsen. Contacts are presently being made for recreation committee and Arnold Haider, Carl Hazel and Mark Webster were named to, the projects committee. Officers and directors accepted an assignment at the Wood's Ranch recreation area. Project calls for raising of t.. diko at the pond, installation 0f a cement spillway, cleaning up the area and accepting the responsibility of having the pond properly stocked for children's fishing. In addition the Federation has now undertaken an extensive membership drive. Macfarlane indicated in-dicated that adult membership for the year is set at $1 and that dcr 16 years of age, will be 50 cents. |
